Dua Dissector
Design
Standard right-angle dissectors are associated with inadvertent vessel wall
trauma. The Dua Dissector protects against this type of injury by preventing
past-pointing through a strategically engineered instrument head that
maximizes visualization. The cupped head spreads to efficiently expose and
cradle the dissected vessel within the surgical field. The Dua Dissector may
be used in the open position to anchor the vessel for further surgical
manipulation thus replacing the need for cumbersome vessel loops.
• Versatile, atraumatic surgical dissector, clamp and retention
instrument designed for fine manipulation of vascular structures.
• Curved, smooth, and beveled head with serrated edges allows precise
vessel handling and clamping.
• The ergonomic handle facilitates maximum vascular manipulation
through minimal hand movement.
Advantages • Vessel clamping is permitted through ratchets to ensure proper
hemostasis despite the degree of vessel pathology.

The Dua Dissector permits versatile use in a variety of surgical settings
and is available in multiple sizes based on vessel diameter. Precise German
engineering and stainless steel construction ensure maximum dividends from
your investment.
• Facilitates rapid dissection while harvesting the great saphenous vein.
• Optimal exposure of the internal mammary artery during CABG.
• Safely dissects and secures peripheral arteries and veins during
bypass operations, arteriovenous fistula creation, and trauma cases.
• Provides robust control and manipulation of the common and internal
carotid arteries during endarterectomy.
• Applicable for use when dissecting a variety of delicate tubular
structures, including nerves, spermatic cord (during hernia surgery),
ureters, ligaments, and tendons.
• Suitable for use in a variety of cardiac, vascular, trauma, general
surgery, and urologic surgery settings.
