Our Knives are equipped with a Titanium
Handle which allows the surgeon to perform
precise movements without adding the weight
of a standard stainless steel instrument.

The diamonds in Wexler Knives are real
diamonds, which are known to retain an edge
that will stay sharper than GEM quality blades.

Wexler’s Diamond blades are available in
different sizes for a precise incision width
for each individual surgical procedure. 1mm
blades are ideal for General, Sideport and
Relaxing incisions that are often used in
Refractive surgeries. 2.0-3.2mm blades are best
for use with Keratome or Phaco incisions and
are ideal for cataract surgeries. Crescent blades
are perfect for use in tunnel incisions.

INTRODUCTION
Micro Incision Instruments
Wexler Micro Incision instruments are designed
to perform Micro Incision surgery techniques.
MICS instruments consist of a Universal
Titanium handle and a detachable working tip.
The handle fits all tip sizes reducing the cost of
these instruments.
Tips come in three different sizes, 20, 23 and 25
Gauge which can be detached from the handle
facilitating the cleaning process and increasing
its durability.

MICS instruments can be manufactured upon
request as a Solid, One Piece unit.
20 Gauge Tip Cleaning and Sterilization
MICS instruments should be washed with
distilled warm water (30ºC-40ºC / 86ºF-104ºF)
immediately after surgery.
1. Disconnect the Working Tip from
Handle
VL0426.3 2. Screw the Cleaning Adaptor (VL002.1)
onto the base of the tip
3. Plug a 50-100ml syringe filled with
warm distilled water onto the adaptor
and push the plunger to flush the inner
shaft
4. Repeat above procedure (Step 3) with
Alcohol to remove any moisture from
shaft
5. Use the syringe 2 to 3 times to push
compressed air to completely dry the
inner shaft
6. Wash the Handle with warm distilled
water and dry it at room temprature
7. Sterilize instruments in ETO, Autoclave
or Dry-head procedure following the
standard procedures.
